Follow these very basic steps to turn your aging bread into a delicious salad topper or crunchy snack. You’ll never want to buy croutons again!

You can make these from literally any type of bread! Whether it is store bought, homemade, white bread, whole wheat, sourdough, or yeast, this process is still the same. You can find some homemade, whole wheat bread recipes to try at home here.
The steps to homemade croutons:
1. Chop your bread into cubes.

2. Combine the bread with the oil and your choice of seasonings.

3. Spread out onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

4. Bake at 375 for 15-25 minutes, or until crunchy. Finally, enjoy snacking on your delicious homemade croutons!

Ingredients
1 cup chopped bread
1/2 tablespoon of oil
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 teaspoon of garlic
1/2 teaspoon of oregano
1/2 teaspoon of basil
Directions
- Cut your bread into cubes, and transfer to a large bowl.
- Add your oil and seasonings to the bowl, and stir well to evenly coat all the cubes.
- Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes, or until crunchy. Enjoy!
